Florence Sights

The Florence Sights are an absolute tribute to its historic city. A majority of the cities most popular tourist attractions also happen to be collected in the miniscule centro storico. Centro Storico just happens to mean Historic Center.

Many of the early 12th century architecture has still survived and the city has kept its mythical medieval streets. Just walking around In the Historic Center and you are sure to find a wonder. Galleria degli Uffizi

A wonderful Renaissance art museum, this collection gifted by the last Medici, will inspire even the most simplest of art enthusiasts.

Michelangelo's David:

Possibly one of the most famous sculptures in the entire world, this masterpiece by David will absolutely astound you. If you are in Florence do not miss this.

The dome of the Duomo:

Located at the center of Florence, you can instantly see the genius behind Brunelleschi's work of art. This dome is easily recognized as Florence’s centerpiece.

The view from Piazzale Michelangelo:

Looking for the most popular view in Florence, you will find it hard to find a better spot, overlooking many of the cities major attractions, the sunsets are breath-taking.

Galleria degli Uffizi

If you haven’t had your fill of renaissance art the Uffizi Gallery offers more art collections from the last Medici. Noted as one of the first modern museums, this site has been around since the 16th century. There is a lot of History within its walls.
